RETIREMENT PLANNING

WHAT:

Retirement planning involves examining your financial situation and determining your goals for a financially secure retirement, developing a strategy for meeting those goals, taking steps to implement that strategy, and regularly reviewing that strategy to ensure that it is meeting your needs and objectives.

WHY:
Retirement represents a turning point.  And the changes that retirement represents are most dramatically demonstrated in your financial affairs.  With retirement, your sources of income may change.  The "mix" of your assets may be modified.  In short, the prospect of retirement requires you to plan for its many consequences.

What are your financial objectives for your retirement years?  What sources of income will you have?  How will your retirement plan benefits come into play?  What other assets do you own and how can they best be utilized during your retirement?  What about Social Security?  Protecting your assets against inflation?  Taxes?

Finding the answers to these and dozens of other questions is what retirement planning is all about.  And retirement planning can go beyond simply planning for your retirement security.  The practical aspects of retirement - where you'll live, whether you'll travel, and so on - are also factors to be considered and, in many cases, are dependent on how well you've planned your retirement finances.

WHO:
We have the knowledge and the experience to help you plan for retirement.  And, with us, you can be assured that our advice will be completely impartial, with your needs and goals our sole concern.  Before retirement, we will help you examine your retirement objectives and suggest ways to meet those objectives.  We can help you develop and implement your retirement planning strategy and we will regularly review that strategy with you until you retire.

At the time of your retirement, we are available to show you the most beneficial way to receive your retirement plan benefits - from both a tax and non-tax perspective.  And we can continue to advise you regarding the conservation of assets and the best way to use those assets to your advantage.

We would like the opportunity to talk to you about your retirement plan.  Please call.
